If you require Adobe InDesign templates, please ask your contact and these will be sent to you directly.

All templates are layered. If you're downloading a PSD (Adobe Photoshop) template for a cassette/or minidisc inlay, please remember to download both the cover & inner templates for the size of inlay you need, if you're having print on both sides. All other file formats have both the outer and inner sides within the same file.
Please take a moment to review the following artwork guidance before proceeding with your artwork creation / submission:
NB: All artwork should be supplied CMYK at a minimum 600 DPI resolution.
Our inlay templates show three key areas to take note of:
-
Safety Zone - indicated in blue. We recommend that no crucial part of your artwork is placed here due to its proximity to the Trim/Crease line, indicated in pink.
-
Trim/Crease Line - indicated in pink. This where we will trim and crease your inlay. We advise giving some thought to the placement and design of your artwork to avoid any potential for it to be compromised during trimming and creasing. For example, placing a white-backed barcode too close to the spine area, could result in the white of the barcode being seen on the spine once folded up into shape.
-
3mm Bleed - indicated in yellow. Your artwork should always be extended into this area by at least 3mm to ensure that when we trim your inlay, there is some tolerance.

NB: The label and download card templates only show the trim and bleed areas; the same guidance above applies, in terms of artwork positioning and placement.

If supplying' Print Ready Files' (ideally PDF), these need to be supplied with guide and cutter layers switched off. Files relating to any paper-parts, including inlays, labels and download cards, should have crop marks and a minimum of 3mm bleed as shown on our templates. If you've used specific fonts, flattening or rasterizing the text may be safer in case any programs we use inadvertently replace the font...or you can let us know what font it was that you used or supply a copy of it if its unusual.

If you don’t have it in these formats let us know what you have, and we will see if we are able to use it. Artwork does need to be CMYK at 600 DPI.
Please note we do not recommend going below a 6-point size for text, this is also dependent on the fonts used. As above, If the fonts are unusual, please supply a copy.
If you're having on-body print directly onto the shell...please take note of the following:
Ideally, we need the artwork supplied as a vector file, as we cannot use JPEGs, we can try and covert them but sometimes definition can be lost. Generally, if printing on anything other than white, cream, or grey tapes, we will add a white base layer beneath colours so that the colours come out accurately and are not affected by the shade of the tape shell behind. If you would only like a partial white layer or would only like your artwork to be printed in white then please supply a separate copy of the artwork for the white layer only(with white print in the file name so that we can easily identify it as being a white print), with the white area to be printed using a solid black colour (essentially white colours are never printed in artwork and for us to print a white base layer we load up a specific file with the black in the file representing the white layer to print).

NB: All artwork should be supplied CMYK at a minimum 600 DPI resolution.

Once your artwork is ready for us, please send it directly to your Media Duplication Ltd contact via a file-sharing app such as WeTransfer.
